Hello everyone,
Today I sent home a permission slip to go swimming. The students worked to earn a swim afternoon, and we are going to Lakeview Civic Centre tomorrow. Each child must have a signed permission slip to be able to come along, so please make sure to sign it and send it back for tomorrow.
The rough copy of the five paragraph essay was due today. If there are students who have not completed it for tomorrow, they can have more time to finish it at the pool tomorrow. I can even sit with them and help them get it done.
There is a word-a-day quiz tomorrow. The quiz will be on the ten vocabulary words we have taken this year. There will be 10 matching questions and 10 fill in the blank questions.

The good copy of the persuasive essay will be due on Thursday, November 1st, unless we run out of class time to do our editing and revising. I just noticed that we have swimming Tuesday afternoon, and a dance Wednesday afternoon, so we may have to make the due date Friday. I will keep you posted.
